My vehicle has a fuel tank defect. It has a 14.5 gallon tank but only accepts 9 gallons. I let me sales person know. She was familiar with the situation and said you’ve been successfully fixing the issue. Just make an appointment with service. I called service, explained the issue and made an appointment. She said it would take at least a few hours to replace the fuel tank & since I lived more than 15 miles away I would need to arrange my own transportation. I took half a day off work, drove 1.5 hours round trip (my father also drove the same distance separately to drive me home). When I arrived I was told there is not a fix for it and there is nothing you can do. Very frustrated that an appointment was allowed to be made for this if there is no fix. My bigger concern however is that I was sold a vehicle with a defect and after researching the issue, found that Toyota was aware of the the defect at the time of my purchase and did not disclose this information to me.

I leave the message but he didn’t return my message. And then he holds up my car for the whole day , he did not call us what is happening. By the time we come to pick up my car, the car is not fix it. We have to wait for long line at night. In the morning he didn’t call us to tell what’s happening, we don’t want that kind of service anymore. I can go some where else for the service. We’re very mad last night, nothing to be done. You guys think we come back for that.
