I was Informed that the car would be ready 3:30/4 when I arrived for an 11 am appointment. I was offered a rental, but told the service representative that I couldn’t afford the gas and insurance that’s needed for rentals, so I told him I’d wait. However, it came to 4 pm, and hadn’t heard from him. So I called and received a text saying that they were running behind and weren’t sure of how much longer it was going to take. He mentioned maybe half an hour to an hour, but ended up being almost an hour and half. I told the rep that I’d rather wait vs the service having to be rushed and half done because of time. In summary, I was upset because I had spent over 6 hours waiting just for new tires, an alignment and a recall check that I had an appointment for. Felt there was no point in having a appointment if I had to wait 6 hours. I was frustrated, upset, and felt let down by the experience. Given that I am a student on a budget, I couldn’t afford to buy food or drinks while I was waiting for 6 hours! I even cried at the cashier because of how this experience made me feel. As a loyal customer, where I’ve gotten all of the services for my car done at Longo, I feel like not returning for future services.
