3 hours while i waited. The entire waiting room was there complaining about length of time for sinple services like oil chabges or in my case a 5k service. Ken was great, not his fault, but 3 hours is crazy unacceptable

I have used Toyota service many times and typically wait for car to be finished. For routine maintenance appts, it is usually 1 hr maybe a bit more. Today, after 2 hours, I went and asked when it would be done. The advisor had to search for my car and then said it would be another 30 minutes. I told him I had to leave for an appt but my husband would be waiting instead of me. After my appt I find that he texted me, which of course I didn’t see until after my appt, and then half an hour after text he called me which again I didn’t see until after my appt. My husband said that finally, they just drove the car around and told him it was there. The advisor never came out looking for me or my husband, never discussed the suggested additional services. This was definitely not my usual and expected service.

I dropped my car off at 8:15 AM when I had a scheduled appointment. I didn’t receive a call until 4 PM that there was a delay and they were just starting on the car and would need to keep it overnight and half of the next day. I understand delays happen, but would have appreciated a call much much earlier so that I could adjust my plans. It was an inconvenience, not having my vehicle as I had several commitments the next day for which I needed a vehicle. Bob initially offered to loan a car, but then Never mentioned it again.

To start, I need to make a distinction between **** and the service provided. While I think **** expressed information about the service to the best of his knowledge and did his best to make up for the fact that it took almost 7 hours to get new tires, there is no reason for new tires to take 7 hours. I was also hoping to get new brakes but a commitment at 4pm made it so that your team didn’t have time to replace my brakes, so now I need to set up another Saturday without my car getting something done when it just spent 7 hours in the shop. Again I believe **** operated with integrity during the process but I am not sure I’ll be back for service.

It shouldn’t have taken 2 1/2 hours for this maintenance. I also had to find out myself that it was finished as I wasn’t told directly. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that this has happened. I’ve bought Toyotas for 25 years but I dread having it serviced. I have very low expectations with the service and they are usually met.
