Would not rotate my tires, told me my lug nuts were deteriorating and seizing up. Wanted me to spend $450 on new lug nuts. When I got home I was able to loosen the lug nuts by hand with the wrench when I checked them. No reason the tire rotation could not have happened today while still recommending I replace the lug nuts.

My RAV4 was in for the 5,000 mile service which as you know is simply a tire rotation. I noticed before the service that the tire pressure readings on the dashboard were 41, 41, 39, and 39 which are high (door label recommends 35). Knowing service was in a few days, I didn't adjust the tire pressure. To my surprise, after the service the readings were the same. Could it be that you rotated the tires but didn't bother to check the air pressure and notice that they were not inflated properly?
