Rear alert system works intermittently and I was told the mechanic could not duplicate the problem BUT backing the car down the driveway a vehicle crosses my path and the alert failed to trigger! And the windshield display does not work during the day. The mechanic set the display to be brighter. I drove the car yesterday late afternoon and again during the day today AND the display does not register on the windshield.

My car sounds terrible with the diagnosed condition, I hope Volvo is accurate it's not unsafe or will cause further harm to my vehicle, I assumed by paying thousands of dollars for the extra warranty, it would ensure I got a replacement vehicle while I wait for it to get fixed. I would like this matter to be elevated and reviewed for consideration. I travel downtown daily to take my child to school and have felt unsafe in the car. The only assurance is that Volvo advised it's safe. Thanks
