Tony was very cordial and doing what he could to help me. I had come in for a simple inspection recall and requested a check on my driver window. I was told I needed to leave the car for 3 to 4 hours in order to do that. I agreed to do that. I came back after four hours and the car was not finished. After five hours, I got the car back. The recall inspection was done. While the other issue said that they took the car for a drive to check it out , the mileage on the car did not change at all. Either the inspection on the other issue I requested was completely brushed off or I was lied to about it even being done because I can’t see how it could have been done with no mileage put onto the car as per the arrival mileage and exit mileage being exactly the same. I was told perhaps I should arrange to leave the car longer for such an inspection, however, I pointed out I had left the car for what eventually turned out to be five hours as requested to do this in the first place. I think the inspection I had requested was either not done at all , or done in a matter which was superficial and wasted the five hours that I arranged to have my car there, and it feels a little insulting to me that one would think I could believe that any diligentinspection took place when there was zero mileage incurred on the car . Again, I want to state that Anthony was very polite and accepted my communications professionally. That said when I initially left, I was only given an invoice that was not the “final invoice “because I was in a hurry and he wanted to accommodate me. I ended up having to return , about 45 minutes later to request that I get the actual invoice that showed the actual work that was done or not done, as the original invoice showed that I had requested work that I in fact had not requested. This is just an experience that I find completely unprofessional and , I do not think I can trust bringing my car back to Santa Barbara Honda. I’m so sorry to say this because my previous experience was really great. But this was just not at all. Thank you for asking and so sorry to have to say all this.
