As far as coming in to get my oil change and the customer service, everything was great. What I am not happy about is that I really haven't driven my car much since I got it changed and everything was good. I was surprising my daughters and taking the m to San Diego for a beach trip. On our way out to San Diego, smoke started coming from the air vents in my car! I was scared thinking that my car was catching on fire or something and my daughters were very scared. My temperature gages were fine. Something like this has never happened before, I always take good care of my cars and make sure that routine maintenance is always done in a timely matter. I pulled over to check out what was going on and a man helped me check it out. We popped the hood and looked around and found oil that had was spilled down an area. He told me to take it back when I get back into town and have you check it out. I tried calling but always get a machine to leave a message.

The service advisor, Mareen, did the bare minimum to push me through. She wasn’t friendly or offer even basic customer service. I told her I had an extended warranty and I guess she just looked at the paper and said I did not. She didn’t even call to verify. After waiting 3 hours for a diagnositic test and then having to endure her apparent dislike for her job, I paid the $185 for the inspection. I decided to call my warranty company and they verified I had an extended warranty and it would be covered. Now, I have to go back and forth with other service advisors and miss more work for something that an employee could have done with a simple phone call. I also paid $185 unnecessarily. My previous experience with Honda was great but this one really put a bad taste in my mouth and made something simple more complicated. I understand employees are busy but given the fact the warranty made you guys more money, I’m disappointed that a rep didn’t do the bare minimum to make a sale and offer the most basic of customer service.

I do not think it was handled well. It took way too long to get cleared, ordered and repaired. Communication was poor. You had it 8 weeks but gave me only 8 days of a loaner vehicle to start. Finally ok’d a little longer. No I do not think this was handled professionally in any way. In the future I will probably drive 50 miles to a Jeep dealer so I do not have to use your services. Which is stupid because I live 5 miles away from one. But it will probably be worth it.
