I needed my car's memory reprogramed as I had my spare key stolen in a home burglary.
I have been told to come back twice. once because they "did not have the right key for me" and again because they did not have enough time to reprogram my car. Ultimately on the third time, they decided that I did NOT need a new key and the Reprogramming could be done on the key I had. which took 2 hours. A mobile locksmith took less time on the other car I had which had all its keys stolen.

We specifically brought our Highlander in for the recall on the screen monitor which they said they had the parts and after 15 minutes were told that they don’t have a fix yet. We received emails confirming the appointment and texts up to the day we brought it in and no one told us that there wasn’t a fix yet. It was a wasted trip for us in very bad weather conditions

I purchased a new Tacoma in October 2025. The truck has a rattle in the door when hitting bumps. I made an appointment with Westside Toyota to handle the 5,000 mile Toyota Care regular maintenance and I mentioned the rattle to the person over the phone when making an appointment. When I showed up for my appointment I was not in the system and the person doing the intake was not personable and seemed irritated when checking me in. I mentioned the rattle in the door to him and he seemed even further irritated about the mention of it and started swinging my door back and forth. I told him “that’s not what makes the rattle, you’ll need to drive it over bumps. Just take it down any bumpy road and you’ll hear it.” He put his head back down toward his iPad and I could tell that my comment was disregarded. The received a call about the truck being ready for pickup approximately 6 hours later. I asked if the door rattle had been fixed and they said the tech couldn’t hear the rattle. I told the person who I was talking to about driving it over a bumpy road and I was equally dismissed and told to schedule another appointment. Another appointment is not only inconvenient but also would be only addressing the main reason why I scheduled the first appointment to being with. I felt dismissed and then spoke with friends and family about my experience. I heard similar stories from everyone I spoke with about their poor customer experience at Westside Toyota. I likely will not return for anything.

I normally don't submit comments on surveys but I do have to say that Kenric was quite a professional. He knows his vehicles he's enthusiastic about his job. A rarity in today's world. And he was willing to help me every step of the way also giving me a call earlier in the week and letting me know the progress of my vehicle's repair.
