5 starts for Kris! Kris is 100% NOT the reason for my dissatisfaction. On the contrary, he was kind, friendly, relayed the information the techs or mechanics gave him and simply a pawn for the company. My dissatisfaction is with Toyota and the management team. I don’t believe any real or serious issues would occur but I only wanted to take preventative measures (which I informed prior to my appointment). I am taking a long and perhaps rough terrain trip soon and Toyota wanted to service many other things on my vehicle except give me a, perceivably simple oil change (I can do it myself with about as much the wait time I receive at Toyota). That is including the fact that I funded a lifetime oil change service (for the convenience of time and routine Maintenace) for my vehicle and the fact that I have repeatedly serviced my vehicle before the service due date. I was told I cannot service my vehicle for an oil change without reaching another +1,700 miles (which I will be well over after my trip). Again, not upset with Kris, just with management and Toyota for nonchalantly letting me wait a couple of hours only to inform me have to wait a couple thousand miles to receive the service I requested over the phone.

I had an appointment to get my oil changed, tires rotated and recall taken care of. I get there and am told the recall can’t be taken care of because they don’t have enough time and then that you didn’t have the part and would have to order it. Just would be nice to be told that up front. So I went ahead and had the oil changed and tires rotated. Even with an appointment….. it took 2 1/2 hours to get it done. What good does it do to have an appointment if it takes that long?
