This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with Genesis of Corona. But I don’t think it was as much Melissa as it was her manager.
I was asked to pay $1000, up front, because I was told that the loaner vehicle was scratched. I asked to speak with a manager but no manager was available.
It took days to get updates or an explanation. I was then told that an insurance claim would be submitted if I didn’t pay the $1000, per the manager. I expressed to Melissa how disappointed I was that I was hearing what her manager said through her and not directly from the manager.
It’s been over a week since my service was completed and I still haven’t heard from any manager.
I still haven’t received any word on what the body shop estimate was.
I regret my past positive reviews and quite frankly, I see why people have left such poor reviews about Genesis of Corona on the Google page .
The $1000 up-front payment policy wasn’t mentioned up front and it wasn’t in the contract. And just as worse, the lack of communication or care shown by management has been appalling.
I may never buy a Genesis again because Genesis of Corona just did a big disservice to the Genesis brand.
