I guess it was an honest mistake as obviously no one would do it on purpose, but what we needed replaced was not and something else was. But they are going to correct that mistake. I hope Heather doesn’t get in trouble for the mistake, but that it can be used as a learning experience.

Your shotgun approach to preventative maintenance needs revision, listing everything that could be tweaked on a vehicle does not inspire the owners confidence in the dealership. It appears to be a recipe for the dealership to profit. A better approach would be to prioritize potential work and communicate with the customer the risk/benefit of each activity. As an example last time I visited the dealership you recommended front end alignment. The car was handling well but I followed your advice. You recommended alignment again this time. Handling and tire wear are fine.

My recent experience with customer service was very disappointing. I came in for a routine service—an oil change and tire rotation—and ended up waiting for over three hours. During this time, I was informed that my vehicle’s oil pan was cracked. When I asked for clarification, the attendant responded in an unprofessional and argumentative manner rather than providing a clear explanation. I found it difficult to understand how such damage could be considered normal wear and tear given that my vehicle only has 53,000 miles on it. I came in for a service that cost $150, and for that price I expected excellent customer service along with clear explanations regarding my vehicle. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Due to this experience, I will not be returning to this location full of sassy men.
