I recognize that running a car dealership and service center is a huge job and i appreciate you’re still getting it together.
Ive only visited this dealership twice. Once to purchase, but the salesperson never followed up and i purchased at Capital Hyundai.
My second visit was for this service appointment. My sense is that this operation is poorly managed. While i waited 45 minutes to be checked-in, I observed the lobby and listened to how calls were handled. The customer does not appear to be the priority.
Irving is the one worker who demonstrated initiative and concern for the customer. He’s the only person who approached me and took ownership. He demonstrated competence and superior client care. I felt that he was honest, knowledgeable, and he would follow through on everything he promised - and he did.
The service reception staff seems under staffed and overwhelmed. Irving was the stand-out.
If your dealership is committed to improvement - use Irving.
One thing i know from my long experience in business…if you've got an employee who still gives a **** about the customer when the business itself does not - its only a matter of time before you'll lose him.
Hyundai, Kia and Genesis are great brands. Service must step up to the expectations the consumer has for the brand.
You’ve got someone on site who knows how it’s done.
Consider giving Irving more responsibility.

I dropped off my car on the morning of 01/23/24, and after 11 days at your location, the only service I received was a check-up, even though I asked to refill the freon gas for the AC, change the rear boots, and backup camera. On the first day, I received a call to go over what I wanted to get done on my car, on the following days there was zero communication. I texted and called several times to receive an update about my car, but all my efforts were unsuccessful. Due to the lack of communication, I went to your location on the afternoon of 02/02/24, where I was told that by the next day, my car would be available for pickup, after several excuses of why the work I asked for was not done. On 02/03/24, I went to pick up my car, only to be communicated that none of the work I asked for was done, and surprisingly, more issues were found on my car, specifically, the change of the brake system (calipers, brake pads, etc), with an approximate cost of $4000!. This was communicated to me by the mechanic who performed the check-up on my car, which raises the question of how serious is the work at your location. After 11 days, I decided to take my car home, with zero work done, and huge expenses of Uber rides as I was not offered a loaner car.
