The communication from Matthew Lopez following my initial visit has been very slow, and with no proper response to my questions. I eventually decided to make a follow up visit to the dealership, only to discover it was Matt’s day off. There was no out of office message on his voicemail. Myron tried to help, but he didn’t even bother trying to pull up my records on the computer. I ha to provide my info to him on a post it note! Overall, a very disappointing experience.

I was first told that the service would take a maximum of three hours, but most likely around two. I brought in my wife's 2024 Ioniq for a couple of recall issues, as well as the routine service for which the vehicle was due. I brought the car in around 1, the vehicle was officially checked in at 1:19. By around 4pm Myron notified me that service was taking longer than expected and by 5:14 I received a text saying the vehicle was done, and waited until about 5:30 to receive the vehicle. Upon getting it back, the "service required" notification on the dashboard was still flashing, and despite the wiper fluid notification being on, was not refilled. When I met with Myron at 5:14, he had informed me that a couple of the service employees had gone home early, and that it was all on one person. By the end of the day I had just wanted to get the car back home, and he offered to wash the car himself. I feel like I wasn't kept up to speed on something that involved a large portion of my time, and my wife and I are already a bit wary as we really liked our dealer at Glendale Hyundai, David Givens, and he always made sure we were informed and we never felt at the whim of the dealership. Having to come over to a new dealership as new clients has a curve to it, but feeling comfortable in a car dealership was an important precedent for us, and I hope Cardinale Way Hyundai can try to make that happen.

I could not have asked for a better experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, even accommodating me when I showed up early for my appointment. Also, they gave me some good options for other modifications I might want to make my vehicle. If I had to pick something to complain about, it would be the lack of vending machines, drinks and snacks, in the temporary customer lounge.

My service for my 20 Kona was done Friday. Tge check in was longer than normal and my car was already upstairs 7am checkin..seeing the cost of you Multi Point was oil change is now $129.99 up from 5 mos ago at $79.99??? My car was already upstairs..my bill came to $159. An oil change, tire rotation and fuel additive cost that. When I got home my wife reminded me we had a coupon from Norm Reeves (for my 18 Santa Fe sport) for priced at $59.99 reg, sale for $39.99??? I feel violated to say the least. 20 + yr Hyundai owner , bought 5 cars, 3 from you and this is how I’m treated. Time to go to Norm reeves current and future..

Left my car for service, went to work in the valley. Got a text my car was ready so drove the hour back to the dealership to find EVERY service person was in a meeting. At the same time. The sales team was unhelpful. The team in the “lounge trailer” were snacking and watching tv on their phones. I got a lot of “we don’t work in that department”. Finally, advisors come out and no one can locate my car. The car was found (still not finished with service) then they couldn’t find my KEY!! Never in my 7 years of using Hyundai vehicles and service has that happened. Rude. Unhelpful. This will be the last Hyundai I ever purchase after dealing with the dealerships in SoCal. It makes sense Hyundai is getting away from free service agreements. They don’t even want to send people to their own service departments.
