Came in for a simple oil change on Thursday. Was recommended a new battery which I agreed to. After the battery change the service rep told me that my vehicle was rolling backwards when in drive and was going to let me leave with no follow up. Ive had this vehicle for over 10 years and this issue has never occurred score. I asked to speak to manager regarding this new issue- he seemed bothered and would not look at me at all. The service manager had no idea what was causing this new issue and just said I have an old vehicle. He said he would have the service department look at it- but it would not be until the following day. Then the following day I was quoted repairs of $3,000 for an alleged issue which which according to the report they were not sure what the exact problem is. The vehicle does have the issues that would require a $3k repair. I have serious questions whether anyone even looked at the vehicle. I have never had any issue regarding my vehicle rolling backwards while in drive before your employees touched my vehicle. Now I have to take the vehicle to a different service department to determine what your staff did to my vehicle.

The blind spot monitor is clearly defective, yet the service department made no effort to remedy the situation.You can see with your own eyes that the bsm fails but service says it is ok because their diagnostics don't show a problem. Clearly the diagnostics are not perfect. It is very annoying to have a new car still under warranty with a problem and not be able to have it fixed
