Eric was 5 STARS fantastic all the way!! Couldn't have asked for more from him. He was a true professional. Unfortunately the people who booked my service appointment on the phone apparently put me in the wrong location. Turns out I should have been in the main service bay but I was over at one of the express doors and Eric had to scramble to get me taken care of but he did a terrific job. I think the mistake happened with whoever booked the appointment for me. Eric was great!

Greg was very kind and I know that he is just doing his job and ensuring Smart Motors gets the most money they can out of each customer. I have no issues with him. Unfortunately, as I have experienced in the past at Smart, had my husband not called and insisted that the diagnostics and service be covered by the warranty, I would have had to pay for the entire service and testing. Had my husband not brought up the many other online complaints about Sienna doors filling with water, the “technical service bulletin” would not have been brought up and we would have e paid for the service. It is unfortunate that Toyota isn’t more willing to stand behind their warranties. I will not be going back to Smart for any service because it always feel like women are taken advantage of and most issues result in the customer needing to advocate aggressively for themselves.

The main representative man i dealt with was fine. But service needs to step it up to retain customers as far as shuttle service and lending a car to someone who cannot rely on other means for transportation. I had taken off work to bring my car in, which I will never do again. It wasn’t their fault the service needed up taking twice as long as they predicted, however when this happens you need to make it easier on the customer who is waiting to get where they need to be. A shuttle that goes only one way up to five miles would not even get me home. This makes me want to go to a service shop closer to my home, not smart motors where I purchased my vehicle. Also I tried to get a loaner vehicle and was expected to sign legal documents making me liable for any and all possible damage whether I caused it or not, and it was currently HAILING at the time. Clearly I am not going to pay for that, nor could I have any knowledge if there was currently any other issues wrong with the vehicle that they’d try to make me pay for, having never seen the vehicle and not being a mechanic myself. These policies need to be reviewed and customer retention should be prioritized. And no, don’t contact me, I’ve said all I care to. Thanks.
