My original appointment was canceled by the dealership. The service department left a voicemail concerning the situation and requested that I call them back to set up a new day and time. I live 80 miles from the dealership and was not aware of the voicemail until I was 20 miles from the dealership. It was a wasted trip and time on the road. When it was rescheduled, I requested a vehicle to drive since I would be without a vehicle from 8:00 am to 1:00 or 2:00 pm. This was the estimated time they gave me. The request was denied so I used the shuttle service provided. The shuttle driver was rude and seemed very frustrated. My vehicle was finished before 11:00 am. Unfortunately this was not a pleasant experience.

I wait over an hour for the shuttle driver and he didn't show up until after I had voiced my displeasure with the service writer. By that time my van was already in the service bay. I had to burn an hour of vacation time I did not plane on using.

I like the check off sheet on showing the condition of my vehicle. God called me to start a ministry called Keep Your Motor Running 15 years ago. I do a visual inspection, tap off fluids, tire inspection, inflate tires to manufacture specifications, all lights inspection of members of our church vehicles once a month while they are in church service. I made dryerase Checkoff placards so the owner and I know what we did or found wrong with their vehicles. If they get their vehicles checked each month and I know they can't afford the repairs, oil change, etc., Keep Your Motor Running ministry will pay for it or help pay for the repairs within reason. Some churches just pay for vehicle repairs and it gets costly. Keep Your Motor Running ministry helps prevent or catches the problems before the problems get realy bad. Of course, some of the vehicles we receive aren't in good condition, but this ministry Keeps Their Motor Running and Thei Vehicle moving. Many people cannot afford a different car. I even show kids how to foinspect vehicles as well. Checkoff sheets are great.
