The texting report said “additional work NEEDED” but she said it was an extra recommended -not her issue but the software you use for not in person communication. And your sign by cashier says 3% for cash but it is not 3% off the stated price . You just don’t add 3% for service charge for using a credit card . This has been A big consumer issue; in fact the TK magazine in waiting area has an article on businesses and being up front on charge card payment. Toyota is a great vehicle but Lewis has lost the personal touch.

I drive with my lights on "auto " at all times. Someone turned them off and didn't make me aware of that fact. I only learned that they off from another driver after dark that night. Since I am not in the habit of changing the setting I had to pull off the road and open the door to get the dome light on and make the adjustment.

This last service felt like a bait and switch. We originally brought in our vehicle last week and were told that the van needed a new LED, but it didn’t get ordered. So we were then told to bring it back in when the light arrived and there would be no cost. So we dropped it off on Wednesday and a service tech left voicemail messages with my wife that the van actually needed new wiring, and that they went ahead and fixed it without disclosing the cost of the repair or getting approval for the cost. So it came as a surprise when I received an invoice for $200+ when I wasn’t expecting to pay anything. The root cause should have been investigated first before making the claim that there would be no extra cost. And further, upon discovering the real cause of why the light wasn’t working, this information - with expected repair cost - should have been discussed. This unfortunately makes me question doing business with Lewis Toyota in the future.

I was satisfied with the work that was done, but not the timeliness that it took. It does not good to have an appointment if they don't work on your car after you've brought it in there's definitely improvements to be made.
