Took a little longer than expected for just a tire repair, was attempted to be charged for a service that was covered under our warranty, then the next day I was called to supply information to back up our warranty. Is this information not shared between dealerships?

Itemized bill is very confusing and includes an extra $34.23 charge for an oil change on top of the itemized oil change charge of $45.11.
There’s also a MISC CHARGES total listed of $30.61 that has no explanation whatsoever anywhere on the bill as to why I’m being charged this or what it represents.
I bought my tires from Toyota, so rotates are free, but on this rotate I wanted tire balance done, as per tire warranty recommendation, and bill states ROTATE AND BALANCE 4 TIRES charge of $59.95, so did I really get my tire rotate free or not???? The itemized bill from a customer stand point reads as if I paid for the rotate AND balance, so feel like between the unexplained MISC CHARGES along with the rotate AND balance charge, I have good reason to question my total bill of $306.02.
I also questioned staff (Beth) about my mileage in and out reading not matching the printed paperwork compared to my odometer as I started my vehicle to leave Toyota and was told the 3.99 mile discrepancy was due to the mechanic driving the vehicle after doing the alignment, which again if this is the case, then document the correct in and out mileage of the vehicle to prevent customers from thinking their vehicle was used inappropriately by a Toyota employee.
As a customer, I’d like to be told if this is really the protocol ahead of time and quite frankly should be given the option to ride along. Afterall…it’s my vehicle. I shouldn’t have to wonder whether or not it was really test driven due to the front end alignment or merely as an excuse for let’s say a Starbucks run or something.
Unexplained and possibly incorrect charges along with unexplained additional miles on the vehicle NOT stated correctly and also not explained on the paperwork at the end of service creates not only mistrust, but also makes a customer feel taken advantage of and financially ripped off.

When I checked in, I was told my car would take two hours so I asked for a ride home. I was told to wait inside and they’d send the driver to get me as soon as he returned. An hour and 10 minutes later a driver came back to get another man to give him a ride. At that point, I decided to just stay at the shop for the remaining 50 minutes and wait for my car. After two hours and 40 minutes from when I checked in, I went up to ask if my car was almost ready. I was told it was ready, but the paperwork wasn’t done and the man who needed to do it wasn’t at his desk so it’d be another 10 or 15 minutes. After 15 minutes they called my cell phone to tell me my car was done and asked if I needed a ride back to the shop. Of course, I was only a few feet away in the waiting room at that point. So I didn’t feel like a lot of attention was paid to me as a customer although I’m sure the work was done fine.

I was disappointed that my total bill was not the amount initially presented to me. The original "quote" or estimate was $750. When he called to let me know my vehicle was ready the total was $911. I had anticipated adding tax, perhaps or some other "fees," however, this is over $150 more. When I asked about the difference, he indicated he had forgotten to include the cost to mount the tires. He provided a "free oil change on my next visit," card, which I appreciate, however, that doesn't change the fact that the total was so vastly different. To that end, as I reviewed my statement after picking up my vehicle, NONE of the numbers he quoted me originally seemed to match any of the actual charges. In conclusion, it seems that, especially in today's economic climate, accuracy in estimates is crucial and should be a top priority.

3 times brought car in for Blue Tooth disconnect all the time and backing up, lose my screen. In fact today when I get in my car to leave, screen is off and that just not acceptable. To make it worse, I’m told it’s my phone ! Can’t imagine saying that to a customer!

I brought my vehicle back due to smoke from the rear passenger wheel. I was later told the previous job was not completed. The service tech was great and kept me informed. The vehicle was kept 2 1/2 days. When i pick up my vehicle after they break system was worked on and was coming to stop the first time, my vehicle took some time to stop and the peddle was pressed all the way to the floor. This lead me to believe the breaks were not bleed all the way. Everyone otherwise was siper nice and respectful but my concern is that the technician was rushing/rushed and unable to be completely thorough.

The information sent to me via text message was totally different price breakdowns than what appeared on my invoice. Also different than the price sheet I had been shown months ago when told it would soon be time for the 60,000 mile service. I was very unpleasantly shocked and not my normal nice person, happy self. I went out, sat in my car and rewarded both documents and then went back in and talked to Beth. The way she explained it made a little more sense than the young at the counter, but I still don’t understand. My text quote, if I had agreed to 3 additional work items was almost exactly what my actual invoice was for, but I had said NO to 2 of the additional items. I really am not sure if I’ll return to this service department in the future. Seriously, how can a “package deal” that’s gonna save me money cost so darned much?

It took two hours for a simple oil change and tire rotation. As a mechanic for 25years I thought that was too long. Secondly when the job was completed no one told me it was completed and where the car was parked. I had to find the service writer before I knew the car was finished. Then it took another 10 minutes to get the paperwork to the cashier.However the people were very pleasant and it appears all was done correctly....just slower than I anticipated. I
