I’m I’m not unhappy. I’m just had an issue that I was wanting to get fixed and it didn’t happen. I thought she had fixed when I filled up the gas tank because right now when I fill it up, it shows that I can go 302 miles she said I had it on a kilograms but I really wanted it on regular gas. I’ll just stop by the next time. I’m in Topeka.

while the service manager couldn’t have been in any nicer and more friendly, it is frustrating that every time I check out, I am shown an amount and no record of me purchasing the extended care plan then I have to wait while someone looks it up for at least 10 minutes and then they find it and I’m told there’s no charge every single time I have been there

The service took almost 6 hours. I also asked a question regarding water retention in the doors after washing and didn’t get any information regarding this. Nobody reviewed my service or recall when I picked up my car.

Dear Louis Toyota Management, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during the recent windshield replacement for my vehicle. On the initial appointment, I traveled 30 minutes from St. Marys to Topeka, only to find out that the windshield had not been ordered due to a miscommunication between the receptionist and the service team. This resulted in an unnecessary and frustrating trip. Additionally, when the windshield was finally ordered and the replacement process began, a sensor on the windshield was damaged, further delaying the completion of the service. This caused me to wait an entire week before I could return to have the windshield replaced. To add to the frustration, on the final day of pickup, I was informed that the dealership would be open until 8 PM. However, upon arriving at 7:50 PM, I found that no one was present, resulting in another wasted trip and additional fuel costs. Overall, the repeated miscommunications and inconvenience have left me extremely disappointed. I hope that you will take these concerns seriously and work towards improving communication and service quality in the future.

I had some basic things performed, including an oil change, tire balance and rotation, clearing a sensor code (VSC) by applying a seal to an air filter. I had a swaybar end link that needed replaced so they replaced both of them which is pretty straightforward. Then I asked them to look at why the battery keeps going bad within six months. They performed a couple of tests on the aftermarket electronics and told me it was the battery. This is the 4th battery in about three years. So, something is damaging the battery if it’s the battery. Finally, I asked them to tell me why the entire engine bay area appears to be covered with oil. They told me they didn’t think there was an oil leak and told me that they had cleaned the engine bay so that I could see if the problem recurred. It did not appear to me that the engine bay was cleaned much at all. I was charged for about four hours of labor at $200 an hour. That is a very high price for labor. That’s more than most surgeons make per hour. This was really very basic service. I felt I was overcharged. I also felt like two of the problems I asked them to look at didn’t get addressed. And, I was charged for the time it took them to figure out that they didn’t think anything was wrong. So I wasn’t very happy. I take it to the dealership because I know they are professionals that are skilled and trained in Toyota repair. I want Toyota parts and I want people who know what they’re doing. That’s why I take it to the dealership. I have owned at least eight Toyotas and bought most of my vehicles from Lewis. Also, while I am a woman, I’m not stupid. I understand quite a bit about cars, but I always get talked to like I don’t.

Technician marked on the inspection report some sort of fluid leak. When I asked what that was nobody was able to tell me. Said they would call me back and didn’t. When I called I talked to Ray who was rude on the phone and said I would have to bring it back in to know if that was a mistake or if there is a leak. When I asked for him to ask the technician he said they wouldn’t remember so just bring it back in.
