Legends Toyota Auto Repair Service

I had an appointment for an oil change. This is a service I usually fo at my local office, but decided to bring here on my linch break, as it seemed convenient. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Fifteen minutes after checking in, I received another “thank you for scheduling” text with a new time, which was 35 minutes after my appointment time. I checked with my service advisor to make sure they hadn’t pushed me back, and explained to him I maximum allowed lunch time I could not go over. An hour later, 20 minutes after watching another person with a 11:30 who checked in after me leave, I ask my service advisor to check on my car. He comes back and tells me that my car still has 30-45 left, then offers me a loaner to go back to work, then pick up my car at the end of the day. I agree and he go’s about setting that up. As I stand there waiting, another “thank you for your appointment” text with yet again a new time. I show him and he says he doesn’t know why it’s doing that. I then see the service guy who was sent to retrieve my work badge from my car, coming in from the parking lot. So my car wasn’t even in the shop yet??? After returning to work, the text saying my car in complete doesn’t come until 2pm. A two and a half hour oil change??? This service takes a max of 15 minutes at my local shop. Making someone wait that long for a quick scheduled appt is wild.

Transition was smooth and easy

I was told it would be an hour to 1.5 hour to be finished. No one communicated with me and I waited aver 2 hours to get my car. I had plans and was late to my next event. I had to come back to toyota to get both issues fixed.

On the phone, Michael was informative, polite, and patient with any questions or concerns that I had.

Would have been nice for them to check the car over before up selling my wife. She approved some maintenance items (when we only went in for an oil change). They did the coolant flush and transmission service and then came back with over $3,000 in extra work that needed to be done (leaking seals, struts, etc). I would have thought someone would have mentioned this prior to doing preventative/recommended maintenance that could have waited. I then get an offer to price my car you want to purchase and the repairs are more than the car value. We picked up the vehicle with no other service and will be looking to purchase a new vehicle.

Everyone there is the best

I imagine the oil change entire rotation is just fine. I specifically asked while they were doing the tire rotation and filling the tires with air that they fill my spare tire. The lights been on for a period of time and it's difficult for me to climb under the car. It wasn't done, and the oil change reminder wasn't reset. I realize these are small things, sometimes the small things matter
