I had an appointment for 10:30 AM on Friday. It was for a repair expected to take about 3.5 hours. I had a friend meet me so we could spend that time shopping and lunching. When I returned to Sullivan’s, I was told the car was not expected to be ready until 4:00 or 5:00. I said I would wait (my friend had left.) After a short while, Tom let me know the car would not be ready on Friday and offered a courtesy vehicle. (That was nice.) However, my license needs to be renewed (now in the works) and I was offered a lift home in your shuttle (also a very nice service). Compliments to your driver, ****. **** also picked me up this morning (car was ready early, which I appreciate). Things you could improve: work on the cars in the order they come in and do not overbook appointments. I do not think my car repair was even started on Friday (but I was not told that specifically). (This would all be much more understandable if, for instance, the issue was a part you did not have, but it wasn’t that.) Also, you should always keep the exit lane in the service bay area clear for outgoing cars. When I went to leave, I could not use that lane because two vehicles were parked in it. Tom turned my car around and drove it out the back. That was nice of him but if you are asking me about ways things could go more smoothly, I include this. Maybe these things would not bother someone who has multiple family members and multiple cars to rely on when something like this happens. I do not, and it is frustrating/upsetting when these things happen. Otherwise I always appreciate the people who work at Sullivan’s and the work you do on the cars. I will return (but possibly not on a Friday). I hope these comments help, as that is the reason I make them. Thank you. Mary
