I did not have a good service experience this time at all. I have been having problems with my back hatch not opening/closing since October. I took video of it in November. I arrive. My vehicle covered with ice, not my problem we had an ice storm the day prior. The service writer questioning me about ice being the problem (you can’t get a 24 hour turn around appt there so that was just ridiculous to start). Then begins to lecture that if a critter ate something that’s not covered under warranty so already know he’s prepping to not want to fix it. Then told him that I already googled and watched video on how to reset the hatch and that it worked for about 48 hours and started not working again (so most likely not a critter anyway). So an hour later they tell me my car is done and they did nothing. They got a sensor code but it was a “past code” or some crap and that the technician couldn’t replicate the problem. Told to bring it back if happens again or I can just pay for it myself. Number 1, I work for a living don’t have time to pull up every time my hatch isn’t working. Number 2, why should i pay, it’s under warrenty. So before I leave, I of course try the hatch which doesn’t work! Replicated quickly. Just because I’m a woman doesn’t mean I’m an idiot. So I went back in asked them to find the service writer and asked him to close the back hatch that I have been fighting to close for 2 months every time I buy groceries or take the dog in car. So then I was told the warranty manager agreed to order the part. It shouldn’t be that hard, it’s a 2 year old 55,000 vehicle with a broken hatch that had a sensor code.

Shannon is just great and so is the mechanic who helped my heater fan was making a terrible noise. Turns out a critter had gotten in to the fin compartment and died there. Fortunately it did not chew any wires. I cannot say enough about Shannon and the mechanic who cleaned out the bones for and debris He is my hero.

I did not get the desired results I wanted. I was supposed to get a call from the service advisor. I requested for service manager yesterday and was told he was in a meeting. I was told I will get call yesterday about the issue but did not get. I am going to complain toyota itself directly. Less knowledgeable and wasting customer time. I am recently getting very bad service from you guys. I had been coming for the last 10-11 years continually . Your quality of service is not of a Toyota standard.
