Carlson Toyota Auto Repair Service

I called in advance to let them know I only wanted Toyota OEM oil, per Toyota’s owners manual recommendation .He assured me that was not a problem then I get there and he said it was going to be $60 extra even though my car takes 4 1/2 quarts of oil and $10 per court. Then when I inquired to see if I can get a discount and buy a couple cases of oil if there was a bulk discountto do my own future oil changes, the parts guy told me they don’t even have any in stock. So then I rushed over to where they were doing my oil change and had to ask to find out that they were just going to use stock oil anyway. Without my permission !The service advisor then rudely said well if you wanna wait around, we’ll have the Toyota OEM oil delivered from O’Reillys! I then called O’Reillys to find out from their general manager that they do not carry Toyota OEM oil so again the service advisor lied to me and also stated this to the service manager,! my service advisor was so blatantly rude that the manager took me away to his office to apologize for his advisor actions. The service manager was very professional and again seemed embarrassed and apologized up and down for the interaction. He watched from his service advisor towards me. This was the most unprofessional interaction I could have ever imagined over a simple oil change! very disappointing

Scott has done an amazing job a couple of times with coordinating service on our Toyotas. Carlson is lucky to have him.

I wouldn’t say completely satisfied. The car looks nice and clean inside and out. The only issue was that we thought we were having an hour long appointment and it ended up being about two hours and we had a job interview we had to get to.

Nick was very thorough and professional with me.

After the service, my car was parked outside and I was told where to find it. I did, but it had a message “ready to fuel” and would not move. Service guy came out, but I found the problem before he arrived. Whoever drove it out and parked it, popped the gas filler cover.

Prefer more ability to talk to someone versus over texting. Very happy with getting my car taken care of without an appointment. Not so sure about calling into a service instead of actually talking with Carlson Toyota staff. Makes it a little less personable.
