The person who checked my wife in called her a “fat ****.” Unbelievable. I can’t imagine a business tolerating such behavior. We bought 3 vehicles from you and have had all their service completed with you. We won’t be coming back.

The service center was over booked and very behind schedule. The employees allowed their frustrations to come through in the way they communicated with each other and the customers. Two men, not in uniforms but in street clothes-shorts and tshirts, were performing service to vehicles. One employee, Hannah, managed to remain calm and kept a positive attitude even when, in front of customers, her coworkers were rude & condescending to her. The attitudes and lack of customer care I witnessed are not what I have come to expect from Toyota.

I purchased my 2023 Camry at Walser Toyota. I didn’t feel like driving to Bloomington on a Friday. When I checked in, I mentioned to the guy that I would like my tires rotated. I told him that the tires were not rotated at my last service. He made note of what I told him. When I made my service appointment at Carlson, I also put a comment in about a noise in my dashboard when I ran the fan on high with A/C and heat. I have 17,000 miles on my Camry.
About 10 minutes later, two of the staff came to the waiting area. One was the guy that checked my car in and another guy. The guy that didn’t check me in said, “Since you missed the service on your car for 15,000 miles, it puts you in between two services. We checked and they were not rotated at your last service appointment. We won’t be rotating the tires today. You can have them rotated at the last service on your contract at 25,000 miles.”
So my car that has a contract with Toyota, won’t have the tires rotated until 25,000 miles? This is not ok. The noise in my dashboard was not addressed. Frankly, I forgot to bring it up after I was informed my tires were not going to be rotated.
I work serving people too. I take care of people’s health. I will not be bringing my car back to Carlson Toyota. I purchased my car from Walser for a reason.
I was given the name Scott, the Service manager’s name from my husband. He had engine issues after having his Tacoma serviced at Carlson Toyota.
