I appreciate the transparency of Carlson Toyota. While car maintenance is never a fun thing to pay for, I really do appreciate the accurate quotes and the notice of expected upcoming service needs.

First things first. The tech I was working with did a fine job. Not his problem AT ALL.I came in for a scheduled oil change only. No tire rotation, nothing else. I was there waiting for 2 hours and 15 minutes for JUST an oil change! Unfortunately this IS NOT a one time event. I've been going for years and it's been horrible for at least 2 years if not more. I'm not sure what changed 3 or so years ago but your service dept. use to be stellar. The service tech offered me a discount which was appreciated but 2 hours 15 min. is ridiculous.

Oil change completed, w/ multi-point inspection.
Service person identified a slow leak in front drivers side tire. Great work. Thankful he found that. I later observed that there was a nail in the tire. I planned to get new tires in the coming days, so I held off of the repair.

This is half (or more) my fault, but before when I would take a car for service, I would receive a call with the recommendations. I just realized after I got home and actually looked at the paperwork I was given, that there were some recommendations for work to be done. I always leave the car and pick it up once I am done with work, since I work next door to you guys. For me, and if it’s possible to request for it to be like that now on, I would appreciate a call with the recommendations so if possible that work can be completed at the same time. Thank you

No issues with Rylen, he was very helpful. I wish however I was told about how the Toyota care process works several weeks ago when I had my rav4 in for a leaking seal that was replaced under warranty. They could have rotated my tires then if the service writer looked at the miles on the vehicle and mentioned that service was due.
