I have always been very confident when getting my RAV 4 serviced with you; however this time I didn’t realize the importance of paying attention to my text messages. I was reading a book and waiting to be informed by a representative (as has always been done on my past visits). When he came out he said my car was ready and didn’t let me know I probably should have changed my cabin and air filter— I read this later in the day when I checked my text messages. Now I need to make an appointment to get this done!!!

Neil was very outstanding with his service and responsiveness. When the diagnosis was going to take longer than we expected and we were getting in a schedule crunch he offered me a courtesy car to use overnight. He is the reason we appreciate the service we receive at Carlson. He went out of his way to work with us. Also the mechanics were very good, they alerted us to the Cablegate issue and addressed it and also repaired it valve cover leak under warranty for us. These are reasons why we keep coming back to Toyota. Excellent service!

The TL;DR version is that I got stranded for over 2 hours after the work was completed and needed to ask a stranger for a ride in order to get back to the dealership. The car wasn't washed as requested and the seats in the car (including the back) were all moved around in a weird way. I had been told that one part wasn't available on the day of scheduled service (that it "went missing") and that I would be called the next day when they had that part and that it could be installed then. I never got called and am still waiting on that update. Not a great first experience with this service department, unfortunately. (I note that the shuttle driver in the morning was nice to talk to - so compliments there)

I dropped my car off the night before and it said it was in the shop at 730 my appointment was at 8 for an oil change. On the paper I marked I would expect to pick it up about 1030. They did find a recall on my car which they fixed so I was glad about that. I called a few times and got a call back about 1215 and my car had not even had an oil change yet and he said they would get it back in the shop after lunch. My car was finally done about 4:00.
