Appointment at 9am for a recall that apparently doesn’t apply to my car, I’ve been getting calls and mail for like 6 months about this recall just for my car to not even be a part of the recall. I asked the service advisor if they were free to check on my AC since I already made the trip down there. He said yes and it would be a few hours. I didn’t get an update until I checked in with him again at 2pm. He said it would be another 1-1.5 hours. He offered a ride but I live far so I decided to wait. It wasn’t until 5:13pm when another worker approached me because the shop closed at 5pm. I was in the waiting room from 10:30am-5:15pm because “a few hours” turned into a whole work day. I don’t live close by, but I come into honda oakland because I used to live here and this is the only place i’ve gotten service done on my car. Then I had to pay $170 for a part with the AC even though the main issues were covered under my warranty. Lack of communication sucked. Paying that much last minute also wasn’t great. If I knew at 9am that it would take a whole day I wouldn’t have waited. I had a **** experience, but don’t call or contact me unless you can offer me a refund. Thanks.

Some **** tech tried to upsell my wife from $90 to $3500 with a cleaning package. Will never be coming back. Extremely untrustworthy.
