Second visit I have been suggested service that the advisor admitted is not recommended by Toyota but in his opinion should be done. Not sure why a Toyota service department would recommend service not recommended by the manufacturer. Except of course the obvious of trying to make money off apparently unnecessary service.

EVERY TIME I go to get my oil changed and tires rotated it’s always a battle! I ALWAYS bring my own oil (I tell them) I ALWAYS buy my tires from you all. I tell them that so I get a FREE tire rotation. I don’t alway ask to have them rotated because of time constraints. However I always tell them these things and I’m ALWAYS given a bill that shows NONE of the above! They always get it right and charge me correctly however it takes 2-3 attempts each time! They try to charge me for the oil try to charge me for the tire rotation. I just don’t understand WHY they can’t put it in the notes for me and get it right! Thanks for your willingness to get this taken care of to make it a pleasant experience in the future!

The recall letter said it was a 45-60 minute job. After 105 minutes I asked what had gone wrong and was told the mechanic got behind on the preceding job. A timely notification of the delay would have been appreciated as I had arranged another appointment to follow the car repair.

I was in Richmond for a meeting and experienced problems with my car. I went to Toyota South on Monday morning, without an appointment, and the staff responded to my situation immediately. They provided me with shuttle service to the meeting and kept me informed of the problem with my car. They ordered a replacement part and I returned the car the next day for completion of service.
