Charlotte (1) immediately made me feel welcomed and comfortable; (2) kept me completely up to date on my vehicle throughout the day - we must have talked four or five times; (3) explained what was going on with the vehicle in terms I could understand; and (4) appeared to express genuine compassion when I paid for the repairs because she knew it was a hefty bill. Things like being welcoming and compassion sound small, but Charlotte and people like her are the main reason I will continue to have my car serviced at Toyota.

Lillian was very condescending to me and told me that the battery could only be a Toyota battery. She had a very demeaning tone when handling my case. She told me that the technician had to be paid when Toyota didn't do anything for me and requested their $79.50 for the nothing they did. I feel like they didn't check out what else was causing my car to die at red lights and to not start back. The car was just serviced 2 weeks prior and everything checked out fine. A brand of a battery doesn't make any difference to a car.

The speed of the service was quick but the customer service is VERY lacking. After entering I was told someone would be right with me so I stood and waited as the employees carried on personal conversations while I just stood around. After they finished joking and laughing with each other, one of them finally came over and checked me in. It is very off putting to feel like you are “interrupting” them. Additionally, they just stuck a tablet in front of me and said “Sign here…” and didn’t explain what I was signing or what my signature was going to be used for. When I was looking at it trying to figure it out for myself they seemed to get impatient and said to sign in the grey box and I told them I didn’t know what I was signing for because if you just sign something without knowing what you’re doing, especially at a service facility, you can be liable for a lot of expense.
