Toyota sent out a bulletin on gas fumes in cabin which I continue to experience. Brought it in on 09/05/2023. Technicians couldn’t replicate the issue. The only time I notice it is at start up or first thing when I open door before start up. Dissipates after moving down the road.

We have been loyal customer since 1992 (we have purchased 4 vehicles from Sunshine). We were disappointed today when we brought in our Toyota 4-Runner when check engine light would not turn off. The vehicle has just been in a month earlier for an oil change. After running a $55 diagnostic test we were told that the issues was most likely a loose gas cap and the reset the light. All this taking less then 10 minutes. We found it sad that loyal customers we charged $55 for something so easily fixable. We were also told that if the light came back on to make sure the gas tank was only 3/4 full because they couldn’t check other things out on a full tank. Which means we will be charged $55 once again for the diagnosis testing.
