I have always been completely satisfied with Lake Charles Toyota service department. That's why I buy from Lake Charles Toyota. This is the first time I had a problem. If your asking, I feel I must tell you. My appointment was at 12:30. I got there at 12:20. I informed the attendant I needed my expection ticket changed since it was way overdue. I talked about my brakes slamming on while in reverse. Even when nothing is behind me. I talked about receiving recalls. Not all recall parts where in so I think I only had two to change. At 12:50 I received a text asking if I wanted to change my engine filters and cab filters. I replied yes. At 2 I went to ask if my truck was finished. The attendant said they would be right back and tended to another customer (which was fine). I asked about my truck and was told they were waiting on my reply from the text. Which I had replied to. I said to change the engine filters. I was told it would not take long. I waited around the store and when I looked out the window my truck was parked on the other side of the bay. So now I'm not sure if my filters were changed. I left and when I got to the red light I noticed my expectation was not changed. I had to turn around to get that done. I left a little after 3. I'm sure today was a bad day. That's ok. I'm not mad just disappointed because I brag about the service department to everyone. If this had been my first visit I would not want to return. I am a loyal customer who has bought many trucks from Lake Charles Toyota. This is not meant for anyone to get in trouble, just helpful feedback. Thank you

Brought truck in because tailgate wasn’t locking with key fob. Was diagnosed as bad actuator. Part had to be ordered. Made appt. to have it replaced. Went 3/1 @ 10am. Waited 3 hours while work was being done. Checking on truck at 11, 12, and finally getting a text at 12:52 saying truck was ready. Techs put new actuator in and it did not work. After looking at fuse it was a burnt fuse. New actuator was left in truck. After hearing all the details I wanted the old actuator and brought it home and checked it and it still works. It took me 20 minutes to swap actuators. This means I paid $50 for a fuse. UNBELIEVABLE!!
