I’ll Honda tech support on Monday.
I think there is a problem with the internal system because even when I use a brand new charging cord to try to connect my iPhone to CarPlay, the car does not see that there’s anything connected to the cord.

I was charged $220 diagnostic fee for a bad battery. Seems excessive. Will only return for warranty service and will tell everyone else in town that you only care about extracting fees instead of supporting Honda owners. I will find a different dealership, if I have to drive 100 miles, to purchase my new 2025 Honda.

I came in for a safety recall (replacing the fuel pump). When I picked up my car it wouldn’t start. I had to wait for an extra hour while the mechanics tried to figure out what they had done to my car. They figured out they had not reconnected something in the center console. I was in a hurry as I had left my granddaughter at home thinking it would be a quick 15 minute trip. My car made it home okay but the mechanics did not put my center console back together and the back of it is now laying on the floor. So I have to find time to come back again. I am a teacher and a tutor and am very busy during the week. I am so unhappy with my service. Probably not Bruce’s fault but I can’t believe no one checked the work that was done 2 times.

Communication was average, there was an annoying salesman in the lobby trying too hard to sell cars even after I had told him I wasn’t interested, and it took way longer than expected. I told the rep on the phone I would be waiting at the dealership while my car got an oil change and was advised to get there at 8a so I wouldn’t have to wait as long. I ended up being there until 11a… 3 hours for an oil change.
