I have been taking my truck here for 9 years and today was the first time I was infuriated with the service. My appointment was at 9:07. I got there promptly at 9am. 3 trucks pulled behind shortly after me. All 3 of the trucks were speaking to an advisor before me. The advisor that eventually came over- walked I. Front of the service drive first and said, “I’ll be right with you.” He looked new- I’ve seen all the advisors there- he moved slowly- and it seemed like he was unsure of what to do, promptly. He had so much cologne (not pleasant to those who don’t want someone else’s scent all over their seat in their vehicle) on and he got in my truck and sat for a solid couple of minutes trying to figure out how to use his iPad to take pictures. No advisor has ever done that- they usually lean in and take a quick picture. I normally don’t complain ever! But I’m super irritated with this guy’s - no sense of urgency- and kind of confused demeanor. Around 10:40, Jose Ron, the advisor, walks to me and my son in the waiting room and says hey sorry, just an update, we just put your truck up on the rack about 10 minutes ago so it’s getting worked on now. This is an hour and forty minutes in! I live about 45-1hour away from the dealership and my son had a baseball game. My appointment was at 9am. How could my truck not be touched for an hour and a half- for an oil change/tire rotation. I’m irritated with the fact that I still paid $140 for new filters- suggested by Jose who had no idea what he was doing-is frustrating and I can’t believe I paid that- full price for a service that should have been discounted, given the circumstances. Luckily, Cory was near by when I was asking another advisor how this could have happened- and Cory was able to help and I got out of there at 11:10. Without his help, I would have been there an additional 40 minutes or more-per Jose.
