I was advised that I should not be using E85 on my ‘16 Ford Focus SE after a P0171 LEAN code popped up on the ODB reader. However, my car had a flexfuel badge on it (prior to me removing it a year ago) which means that it should be good with E85 and regular fuel (apart from diesel of course). Further more, I have been using E85 every now and then since I bought my car back in June of 2019. If my car in fact just took regular fuel, then why would it have a flex fuel badge or why didn’t the sensors trigger (02/PCM) after using E85 for that long? It is concerning that the technician made a recommendation not to use E85 when FORD official website clearly states that Flex Fuel Vehicles can take E85.

THE REPAIR ISSUE WAS NEVER FIXED THE FIRST TIME. Wife was not safe driving the car. After the recall repairs the car turned into a lemon.

He went above and beyond and turned a bad situation into a positive one. Rudy was fantastic but when I picked my car another member helped me and she said it would take 15-20 minutes to get my car pulled around. It took 35 minutes for me to get my car. The whole time there was four guys who standing around talking about lunch and I made a second request and one of those went to get my car. I won’t be back to your dealership.
