Richard was my advisor and he was great, but there was a miscommunication. He told me that he only worked till 4pm yesterday and that he passed word to another advisor to call me if my truck was to be kept overnight. I, however, never received a phone call from the other advisor notifying me that my truck would be kept overnight. This led me to having to cancel my travel plans for the holidays as I had no information about when my truck would be finished. This morning Richard called me and apologized for the miscommunication and was very helpful with keeping updated on the status of my truck this morning.

We were told that the hose coming off the washer fluid system had “rodent damage”. The car never held fluid for more than a couple days since we got it. We paid extra for the bumper to bumper coverage because “it covers everything outside of the Toyota certified warranty”. My husband was there for almost six hours before he tracked someone down to ask what was going on, just to be told it’s not covered and they are bringing the car up. My husband replaced the $2 hose this morning and upon inspecting the damaged one it is 100% not rodent damage. The line had a crack or slice in it. They lied straight to his face. He spent most of his day waiting there under the impression it would be a couple hours at most. The people he talked to were rude as well when he brought questions up the so called “rodent damage”. It took him 20 minutes to repair the line after waiting on “professional Toyota technicians” for over 5 hours. Complete joke and we feel like we got tricked and or lied to about the “bumper to bumper” coverage. “No questions asked, whatever happens just bring it in”. We had an appointment for 9am on 12/22/25 because the appointment the week prior we were told the windshield couldn’t be repaired because the windshield guy wasn’t there. When he arrived yesterday he was told they didn’t have anything in the work order about the windshield? No we have to come back a 3rd time! Either it is a very very very poorly run operation or the so called Toyota technicians are not very in tune with basic mechanical instincts. Or, in my opinion, the operation as a whole is taught to get away with charging customers to make more money. I betting it’s the last one stated. We called and left a message with management this morning and didn’t get a call back. We will be reaching out to Toyota directly.

I got lucky and the Toyota mechanic agreed with the same cause of my truck problem as a private mechanic. So now I will take this information to Toyota Corporate and request Toyota to pay for the repairs. The Toyota CSR told me that Toyota mechanic must reach same conclusion as private mechanic before Toyota would consider paying for repairs

I purchase a new corolla this year and one Day I realized that the windshield spray is not spraying to the windshield but to the roof, the problem was not solved and, they make me wait more than 3 hours, with the car parked outside the shop, and they give me the car until I ask.
