I dropped my truck off at 7am thinking that I’ll have it back by noon at the latest but I wasn’t contacted throughout the whole day. I was even charged a little over $200 and I had no idea why nobody contacted me about that to get my consent to proceed and when I called Toyota to see what was up with my truck they just gave me the run around not even answering my question when my truck was gonna be done. They were also supposed to change my oil and when I looked at my receipts later on it shows they just “topped off” my fluids which was not what I asked for. I asked for a 30,000 mile service and they put it was for 35,000 when the paperwork clearly says the car mileage. I’ve been coming to this dealership for over 10!years and I drive like 20 miles to get there because I live in Imperial Beach and I have a dealership that’s not even 10 min away in Chula Vista but I like this dealership so much that I just don’t care and drive way out of my way because I liked the customer service. This was the absolute worst time I ever had at this dealership like so bad I’m thinking about not coming back and I have two vehicles that I service here.

Have your techs actually check the tire pressure on vehicles after a tire change. 3 overfilled tires and 1 tire under filled by 10psi. Do they even verify their work? Took 4 hours and cost 1,400 for an oil change and 4 tire replace and I still have to fix the air pressure myself.

I have takes my 21 Camry in to get service many time in the last 6 months back and forth to get an oil leak from the engine check and fix . I have shown the service advisor pictures of the leak an automotive shop took and advise me it possible the leak coming from around both the timing cover since the oil leak is mid way between the engine . I was told there is an on going oil leak but the technician can not determine the location of the leak so they clean off the oil and recommend I drive the car then bring it back again a bunch of time so far . The Oil pan was resealed one time but still leaking , the service writer did not communicate with me What’s going on with the vehicle or any repairs done other then a message your ready for pick up. I drove the car home thinking it fix yay . I realize the paper worker saying to-drive around and come back later again . I just want some support in getting the car figure out and fixed correctly. I have been advised to reach out to Toyota corporate for assistance

We were told the car was fine, after the assessment no issues were found. I drove it to the grocery store and it wouldn’t start again. Many lights and alerts came on once it started.

A warranty claim on my Toyota Tundra headlight was closed as “outside influence” with documentation stating that a “full inspection” had been performed. That inspection never occurred. The truck was not taken back, no physical examination was done, and no testing or teardown took place. Despite this, the claim was closed and that determination was distributed district-wide, which later impacted my ability to receive a fair, independent evaluation at another Toyota dealership. That dealership immediately flagged the issue because the documentation did not match what actually happened. This is not a disagreement over opinion—it’s a problem with inaccurate service records being entered and relied upon. Once something like this is attached to a VIN, it follows the customer and limits future warranty consideration. I expect better accuracy and professionalism from a Toyota dealership. At minimum, service documentation should reflect work that was actually performed. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Norm Reeves.

I was not notified of when my car would be returned to me. My messages were ignored and I had to return in person to be seen. When I did return, the first sales rep to see me, a lazy, larger man, was indifferent to my situation. Only after finding another rep was I given a rental car and told to come back the next day. I am very disappointed with my experience. I will not be coming back.

I have no complaints about the service on my car and I acknowledge that I chose a busy day to have my service completed and expected a long wait time. I took the opportunity to use the shuttle service to go home instead of waiting in the waiting room. When I got the message that my car was ready over an hour earlier than expected, I called about getting a shuttle back. I called twice and texted twice and still hadn’t heard back after nearly an hour. I had to call the main number just to get ahold of a person who could update me about the shuttle, but they informed me the wait would likely be longer still. I’ve never had any problem with the shuttle before and I was disappointed by the lack of a response. I didn’t want to wait indefinitely in the hopes that my request would be acknowledged, so I got back to Norm Reeves another way.
