First of all, I was very disappointed that my oil pan screw was stripped. Appreciated that you repaired what you guys broke, but the communication was not good between my service associate and me. He sent me messages but was not good about answering my messages. Car was supposed to be finished by four then pushed to five and still wasn’t ready until almost 6 o’clock. Also very disappointed with the service that was given to my partner recently. When he brought his car in for an estimate, they charge $200 for an estimate however they had no idea or gave no indication of what was actually wrong with the vehicle just said that it would be $2900 to further investigat. We were able to have the car repaired for $1300 at El Cajon Toyota within two days time. The only reason I’ll be returning to Norman Reeves is to finish my oil change package. Once that is used, I will be going to El Cajon Toyota.

Q is an Attentive and excellent service adviser. As far as the technician workmanship, service not great. The trac off and check engine light came on and the car has a rattling noise sometimes when it turns on but more so when accelerating within the city limits and on the fwy.

I don’t need a detail service but would appreciate a simple wash when I go to have my vehicle serviced. The finance person told me when we purchased our second RAV Prime in 2 years that you provided this. However it was not to be so I called several other Toyota dealers in the vicinity and was told that they do, Lemon Grove and El Cajon. Angelo was polite and the service took an hour with an appointment and you weren’t busy unlike the last few times I was there.

I had an appt for 8:45. Has to wait until 9:15 until anyone even checked me in. Service lasted until 11:30 Ben though I was told not more than 2 hours— which was already ridiculous for an oil change. I’ll be going to another dealer.

I saw John once. Gave him a coupon and he said he would take care of it later. Never saw him again and i never got the discount. I am not sure why you mail them to me if you're not going to honor them. It was also difficult to find anyone to give me my keys when my vehicle was done, and i am sorry for bothering the employee who gave me my keys. He seemed annoyed that i interupted him because John was nowhere to be found.

Today, 1/23/2025, I came in for my routine maintenance appointment at 9am. I arrived exactly at 9. I sat in my car until 9:28 before anyone even came to ask why I was there. Got checked in. I told the technician, my phone was not working and he said he would come and get me as soon as the car was serviced which he estimated to be 2 hours. I waited for 3 hours and finally got up and went looking for the technician at 12:30. I couldn’t find him, so I went looking for my car and found it. I spoke to another technician who helped me find mine. When I told him who I was he said, “0h, yeah.” I signed the paperwork and it said the work had been completed at 11:30. He must have forgotten I didn’t have a phone and didn’t come to find me. When I got my phone fixed, I looked at it and the routine text said the car was ready at 11:30. I realize it is not common for someone to not have a phone, but it does happen. At least a notation should be made somewhere so a client isn’t wait an additional hour unnecessarily.

Service was bad. Took 3 days to get jerked around for just a 60k maintenance. Promise of tires and held an extra day for them not to be installed. Called multiple times asking for updates and leaving voice mails. Used the app to message for status updates and did not get any response until end of the day.

We made an appointment for our 2-year, 20,000 mile + recalls service for 9:15 Saturday morning January 10th. We arrived on-time only to be told to get in line behind 2 dozen other cars. So we left and rescheduled for 9:15 Tuesday. In just a few minutes after arriving Tuesday the 13th, Service Advisor John Bautista spoke with us and said the service should be complete by 4:00. We received one (last) update text at 3:00. I called and texted until 6:30 for an update with no response. After receiving no update Wednesday morning, we managed to arrange a ride and decided to go in person, only to find out that it was Mr Bautista’s day off. We were then competently helped by Joshua Gonzalez, who found our paperwork for our completed service. We then received a text at 12:55 Thursday the 15th from Mr Bautista informing us that our car’s service was completed! Besides the unacceptable lack of communication, we question a system that assigns meaningless appointment times. Overall, this was a very negative experience.
