Service is good but the quality need to consider.

The service was great, I am confused about when to have oils changed now. When I brought it in, I was told 10k miles until it reaches 100,000 miles. Then there was no oil on my dipstick, not good news. Then I was told every 5k miles to have oil changed. However when I picked it up, that guy told me every 3k miles as my car was burning oil. The sticker in the car says 90,000 to come back, when I left I had 86,600 about, for mileage. Can someone clarify? I’ve asked several times and the person helping me always said every 10k miles. But now my engine almost blew up with that message. Thank you, Debra F

Always appreciate being able to trust Robert Farr to deliver honest service and recommendations. Can tell he’s organized, works well with Toyota’s mechanics to get me in and out expediently and has never steered me wrong. Farr always is courteous, dedicated and delivers outstanding customer service. Even though I moved to North San Diego, I chose to stick with Norm Reeves Toyota purely to continue relying on Robert Farr. Prior to adopting Farr as my customer service contact, at two other Toyota locations, I received recommendations for repairs that were unneeded so discontinued going to them. Especially as a female, I’ll research and change Toyota service locations whenever they lose my trust. It’s wonderful that I know this will never be an issue at Norm Reeves with Farr as my contact.

Lack of communication the service advisor or the mechanic making sure we where notified. The advisor didn’t notified us he would be off the next day after dropping our car while knowing are car was going to get major work down. Are vehicle got stopped getting work on because they found another issue and needed approval for. The car should of been handed off to another advisor where the mechanic would of noticed of the additional issues so I could of gave the approval so the could of continued to be worked on instead of just sitting there with nothing being down

Overall the customer service was good. However, when the appointment was made, I clearly stated I was concerned about the squeal when reversing. I also gave a TBS # to support the information. I wasn’t informed about the concern not being solved until I picked up my vehicle and I asked. I was told the tech wasn’t able to duplicate the sound. Had I known this I would’ve left my vehicle to remedy the problem. Now another appointment is required.
