I am extremely disappointed and honestly embarrassed by the experience I had at this dealership. I brought my car in because I had to jump-start it twice within two weeks. When I arrived, Bryan told me I needed an oil change, a new battery, shocks, undercarriage hardware, and an engine flush. I asked for a price breakdown and decided to get only the oil change done. I had already purchased a battery somewhere else, and they installed it after my friend disconnected the cables. When I picked up my car, it still needed a jump just to start. Bryan immediately blamed it on the person who disconnected the cables, instead of checking their own work. He also lectured me about how I “spent more money” by not buying the battery from them — which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I had to get to work, so I left. Later that same day my car started overheating, and I had to add antifreeze myself. The next morning, my car was completely dead again. I returned to the dealership with my husband. He asked why the car wasn’t starting and explained that before, at least it would start off a jump — now it was completely dead. Instead of answering the question, Bryan asked, “Well, who was the guy you had up here the other day looking at the car?” His comment felt rude, irrelevant, and honestly disrespectful. It caused tension between me and my husband, and it had nothing to do with the issue we were trying to solve. Even worse, Bryan had no real solution for us. He said they “don’t test batteries once they install them” and that they don’t check whether the car is actually running if the battery comes from a third party. That was shocking to hear from a dealership. My husband was prepared to tow the car back, but we decided to get a second opinion. The other dealership immediately found the issue: Sutton Ford never tightened the ground cable. Something so simple caused days of stress, arguments, embarrassment, and unnecessary frustration. I truly believed a dealership was supposed to be the safest and most reliable place to take your car. Instead, I left feeling let down, overlooked, and deeply disappointed. I would never expect this level of carelessness and lack of professionalism from a place I trusted with my vehicle.
