I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding the poor service I received during my recent visit to CarlsoToyota Dealership in Coon Rapids. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. While paying for the service, I noticed the service report stated that the oil and cabin filter needed to be replaced. The service advisor had not informed me of this recommendation, and I had to point this out to him. I was disappointed that the technician's recommendation was ignored, and I had to request these parts be replaced and waited another 30-45 minutes. When I picked up my car from the parking lot, I discovered the driver side mirror cover was missing. I returned to the dealership, and after asking a representative to locate the advisor, the manager became involved and helped find him. The cover was located in the shop, but neither the advisor nor the technician were able to properly snap it back in place. The manager came out and pushed it so hard that it appeared to be secure. However, after driving approximately 30 miles on the highway and parking at my workplace, my coworker noticed the mirror cover had fallen off and was lying on the ground next to my car. The mirror had previous damage, but the cover had been working perfectly fine for the last 5 months before this service visit. I expect this matter to be resolved immediately, including proper reinstallation of the mirror cover at no cost and an explanation of how this damage occurred. Sincerely, Biniam D

The service person explained that since I had put so few miles on the car over 8 months, it didn't need any service for 3 more months. So the general evaluation they did on my car showed no problems and I was happy for a free service check.

Daniel was very helpful and courteous. His work as the liaison between the desk and the service department was excellent and keeps me very happy with Baxter Toyota. After very very frustrating experiences at Village Pointe, my switch to Baxter, although less convenient mileage wise, continues to be a joy. Worth the little bit of extra drive!
