Service today is not the issue. I just spent $840 to have my car repaired only to have another issue crop up after the repair. My car no longer gives a “chirp” when the car locks, which it did previous to the repairs you did. Therefore, I don’t feel I should have to pay for a diagnostic/ and or repairs since the issue is a result of the repairs previously completed by your team. I would appreciate a response back. They did the oil change but hopefully when I bring it back in ( in 1,000 miles) they can find out what is truly wrong with it.

The tire rotation , a simple job, the nuts on the tires were not righted causing three nuts to come off and the remaining nut very loose. This is a very dangerous situation .

Jerry was extremely helpful, and spent some time explaining all the things that I should be aware of going forward to take the best care of my car possible. There was no pressure or attempt to upsell the services, which I really appreciate. Jerry was very professional and helpful. At my next visit I will ask for him specifically to be my service advisor.

While I have always been impressed with the service advisors at McGrath Honda in Elgin, Ed Westenholtz was absolutely EXCEPTIONAL! He was careful to go over details with me about my CRV in an extremely professional manner. I was also grateful he was not the least bit condescending toward me as a female who is familiar with mechanics & spoke in a knowledgeable yet friendly manner. I hope to see him again during my service visits as he is a valuable asset to McGrath Honda’s Service Department!

The vtc actuator issue on these models of accords and CRVs is a known issue with Honda and the public at large. I have less than 60k miles on my vehicle and I've now had to replace it twice. This time the faulty part also wrecked lmy camshaft, which I had to replace too. $2000 out the window after having the same repair at 44k miles. I suspect if I kept the vehicle I'd need to replace this part another 2 times at least and keep paying you guys thousands of dollars, all before I hit 100000 miles. (A friend of mine had his replaced 4 times). It's a crime that you guys aren't making these repairs for free when you know they fail with the frequency that it occurs and regardless of the care the owner gives to the vehicle. It's even more galling that technicians are coached to convince your customers that it's their faults for not using the right oil. You guys sold me and millions of others a terrible product, you've done shoddy repair work, and now you're lying to me and shirking responsibility. I'm selling my car and I'm done buying Honda products.- I'm also posting this review on BBB, yelp and anywhere else I can possibly share this information.

So far so good. Hopefully it's good. I will have better opinion in a few weeks. He couldn't budget budget in my serpentine belt replacement. He promised he would then didn't. I wasn't happy about that. Ask me again in 3 weeks and I will have a better review. They also forgot to was vehicle. Service guy was very nice and respectful.
