I made an appointment on Tuesday for an oil change on Friday at 5:45pm. I arrived and asked if I had an appointment. I said yes, and was told to wait in the car, and that an advisor would come out to see me. 15 minutes later, no one had come out to see me despite the fact that I was the only car there. So I went in and asked if someone would be coming out to see me. That’s when Emily came out and said they were really busy. She then also asked me if I had an appointment. I said yes but she said she could not find my appointment in the system. It’s a good thing. I still had my text confirmation of my appointment and showed her the text. After the oil change, I came out and she was busy with another customer so she handed my keys to one of her colleagues. (I believe his name was Jerry or Jeremy) and asked if he could help her close me out. He didn’t really acknowledge her or me. As I stood by his desk, I saw the inspection report and asked if everything was good. He responded that he didn’t know because he didn’t work on my car and that I would have to ask Emily. he then walked away, saying that he had another customer to take care of. That’s when I got the text saying that I could just pay online and be out of there, which I proceeded to do. That was probably the worst experience I had at McGrath Honda for a service appointment, and I have been there for every service appointment since I purchased the car from McGrath Honda almost 9 years ago. I will say that Emily tried to apologize for his behavior.

I wish the service department had a better write up procedure like Motor Werks when you get an oil change they disclose what kind of oil they are using including if it’s full synthetic blend etc and oil viscosity. I also wished all services performed would be reported to carfax.

The service was great. The speaker voice control seems very low. I know the technician checked it with another vehicle of the same year etc. But my wife believes it was louder when pressing the button speaker button . She believes she maybe touched something in error. The button is useless to use as the tone is very low and can’t tell when to start speaking for a request.
