The hood of my truck was not secure when I left dealership. It popped up while on the freeway. I called to file complaint as soon as I was able to find safe spot to pull over and fix the hood. I was super frustrated that this occurred as this could’ve caused accident.

FYI And appointment was made for 8am and arrived at 7:45am the schedule was made for the replacement of my second timing belt and oil seal at the same time. Service Rep was very responsive in handling Initial paperwork. Service rep indicated it should be all wrapped up by 2 PM I said fine. My previous timing belt took about four hours so that seemed OK. Service rep said he would call when it was ready. At 3:15 or about I got a call from the courtesy shuttle but they were outside by door. He was told to come pick me up the car was ready. I returned with the driver to the service desk. Service rep apologized as it was going to take another hour or two to complete the timing belt. It was obvious when I arrived as they were overwhelmed with customers. I waited additional 2 1/2 hours to get my car. It is understandable dealing with missing Service reps being out because of sickness or jury duty etc.. There is no need for follow up as I have my car now, but I am Curious of why it took so long with a dedicated appointment at 8:15 when I left Honda dealership returning home then returning to Honda dealership at 3:15 for another two 1/2 hour wait. In addition I requested repair of timing belt and oil seal, but why was I charged for a new water pump as well? The overwhelmed Service rep should’ve been notified of additional repair needs and related to the owner.

The procedure and pricing clearly explained to me and I was given a written copy of the recommended service when I checked out. The service was completed while I waited. First - a $50 standard shop fee is absurd. I can see a charge for rags, oil disposal, etc., but crazy for projects that don't generate any waste. Then - if you are going to charge it, DISCLOSE with the quote. This is a bit much to find out about after the work is done. I am happy with my car purchase and I've referred others to you, but I would hesitate to come back for work (even though I prefer going to a dealership).
