My wife took car in for oil change and to repair wireing to right headlight ( light did not work, even with new bulb). I stated in work order that wiring between main harness and light went bad, just two years ago). I was called by West hills Honda, and was told I would need to pay $130 for diagnostic, which I agreed to). When car was near ready, I was told cost would be $400 ( to fix faulty part and/or labor that failed in wireing in only two years!!). For at least two hours, I was told "oh, service manager is doing pay roll, and can't be bothered, his boss is in meeting, and can't be bothered, etc). Meanwhile, my wife is needlessly being in effect "held hostage"). When service manager finally called back, he said that he did not have authority to fix this faulty wiring that that you put in, which failed in two years. Car wiring harnesses should be life of car, and not burn out two sets in two years! After about six phone calls, and two hours, I got this fixed at no charge. which I appreciate, but should never be this painfully. A customer should NEVER be told, my manager, and his manager are "too busy, to talk to you", or be on perpetual hold because they don't answer. VERY bad customer service. For this reason, u take my Honda to heartland service whenever possible. Recommend your Honda service department wittness how Scott at Toyota services customers!!
