When I made my appt I chose to wait instead of asking for a rental car or a ride home. I was told it would take approx 3-4 hrs. Fine with me, I decided to wait. Turned out that when I arrived Martin said it would be done by approx 4-5pm (that's 6-7 hrs). When I explained that That didn't sound right because I was given different info & made my decision based on the 3-4 hr time frame, he just said,"we don't quote times". He didn't show that he cared that I was put in a totally different situation than I expected. I dont work in customer service & even I know that there are so many different things he could have said. Maybe show some empathy? At 10:15am I went to arrange for a ride home (Lyft). I was told it would take a while & I expected to wait an hour. The concierge person was shocked to see me still there waiting at 11:50am. I asked if its normal for the ride to take that long. I had received the text saying my lyft was arranged, so i was waiting. The concierge felt awful & said she thought some1 had arranged for a rental after all. She thought my service manager had contacted me. I said no I've been waiting for my Lyft for about 1.5 hrs. She was very helpful and apologetic, tried to locate Martin (went looking for him), but was unable to so arranged another Lyft ride for me. I didnt get upset because it wasn't her fault. If Martin tried to make things better by arranging for a rental, thats very nice of him- even if it didn't work out. My Lyft finally arrived at noon. The entire time I never heard from Martin except for the phone call when the car was done (I received a text part way through saying the repair was on track). Maybe I'm wrong but the feeling i got was that martin didn't really care from the beginning. That could have made things different. The woman at the concierge desk is the person who helped me the most and is the reason why I didn't call to complain. I understand that repair times can be difficult to estimate and that things can change throughout the day. I wasn't going to complain but if you are going to ask i will give an honest answer. The recall repair was done & the tire people found a nail in the tire & patched the tire at no cost. The repair was great but the rest was a disappointing experience.

My center console was rummaged through. And a socket is missing from the tool set I had in my backseat. The first time I brought it to Longo my wheel lock socket was “lost”, I chalked it up to an accident. But now I have greater suspicion. I paid for a front end alignment, and the truck still pulls to the right a little bit. That will be the last time I ever bring any of my vehicles to Longo. The rep that help me was great though. Very nice and helpful. That why I came back to Longo. But I can’t come back if your technicians show that kind of disrespect and disregard for the reason they get paychecks.
