Daniel did his job. Please note that I do all the easy maintenance on all our family vehicles such fluid changes down to valve adjustments. As the right to fix gains momentum, Toyota should prepare for more owners who do the same.

I’m not pleased with the service I received today. I had an 8 am appointment. I drive out at 2:15 pm. I came in for routine maintenance service and was told my bill would be a bit over $300. I should have asked for an explanation but didn’t so I blame myself. Except that all estimated charges have ALWAYS been explained to me at all my other service visits. I’ve been going to Longo since 2001. Friends ask why I take my cars to the dealer when I can have the work done elsewhere for less money. I tell them that I trust you. Today I was advised later in the day that I needed to have two filters changed. Now I wonder why those filter changes weren’t listed in the original estimate. Maybe all I needed was an oil change. I’m not sure that I trust Longo anymore. I’ve NEVER EVER felt this way about Longo. I don’t plan on going to the Pasadena Toyota dealer for service. I’ve only heard terrible things about their service department. Maybe I should try the Alhambra or Glendale Toyoto dealers. I’d like to speak with someone above the person who wrote up my work order. Please answer some of my questions.
