The body inspection was not properly done. The mechanic took my vehicle before properly confirming the “Ding” that was described on the body inspection form, forcing me to sign and continue with the service. It wasn’t until after the service, that the “Ding” was in-fact a piece of paper stuck to the fender resulting in worry through out the entire service.
The service time went well past what was described by the mechanic. I waited two and a half hours for my vehicle to be “serviced” only to find out that my vehicle’s paper work was lost, resulting in the extended wait time. Had I not brought that to anyone’s attention my vehicle would have still been sitting in an empty lot. Not to mention when the vehicle was finally returned to me, it was not washed nor was it properly serviced because my vehicle’s fluids were entirely empty! If it is not the job of the mechanic to properly re-fill the vehicle’s fluids, then why was I not told prior to driving off with the vehicle or when it was returned to me.
I paid for these services prior to purchasing my vehicle, and I have not only wasted my time, money, but also one of three free services described in my contract. This experience has been the worst I have ever had coming from a first time buyer, and I will never bring my vehicle back to Longo Toyota for another service check again.
