I dropped my car off at 11:15 for an oil change. I made sure to mention that I lived an hour away, and had my one year old with me, and was told it was no problem and would be done by 2. There was no loaner cars available which was fine so I had a ride to and from set up. At 2 o’clock I showed up to get the car, only to be told they hadn’t even started it yet, and was another hour okay? At that point I scrambled to see if my sister could watch my baby for an hour at her place (she was only supposed to be sitting with her the 10 minutes while I picked up the car). I wish they had at least called or texted to let me know how behind they were. I sat to wait for the car, and 40 minutes later I got a call saying it was ready so I walked back into the garage only to be told it was finishing up through the wash and would be right out. I stood there for another 25 minutes waiting as they washed my car, as it was pouring rain out. I told them at that 40 minute mark I didn’t need a wash as it was raining out and I wanted to go, but was told it had already been started. Then they said as soon as I saw it I could intercept it since I had already paid and was in a rush, to be told by the attendant driving up no I couldn’t take it he had to go check it back in. I used a vacation day yesterday to have an oil change take 4 hours, have me scramble for a sitter, then get caught in a downpour and rush hour traffic for an hour drive back to Warren. I really regret not taking it to the Toyota dealership 10 minutes down the road from me. Even with the summer service special it wasn’t worth the time and headache. Unfortunately I don’t see myself continuing follow up service with metro Lexus. I know things get backed up and I try to be understanding, but the lack of communication was what really put the nail in the coffin for me.

Jeff did a great job but I had to call to get a status update on my car on Thursday night. I feel I should have been called by a technician. Also, there was a lack of communication when I made the appointment, which was a disappointment. The service at Metro is not what it used to be.

Poor communication. Otherwise nice people, but difficult to reach and without communication to let me know what was going on, I was disappointed. I dropped off the car on Tuesday late afternoon and picked it up late on Friday!! I didn’t use one of your loaners, and even then I had to wait 1/2 hr to 45 min. to get the car while my brother-in-law waited for me. I’m happy for your good fortune to be so busy. I wish it wouldn’t have taken 3 full days to get the job done though. Donna F

I scheduled my car for a 715 oil change. It was supposed to be the express done in one hour. I left and said I will be back at noon. I got back at 12:45 and it was still not done. I was late for work when I finally got the car unwashed because they did not have time to complete it.

I got several texts that had no meaning at all and when I called he number from which it came, it said it was a disconnected service. I could not get a status on the repair of my vehicle, so I called. I was transferred to service four times and no one answered after 25 rings each time. When I called back on the fifth time, I stated that I wanted to have service call me back, and they said I would immediately gat a call. Three hours later I got a call and the caller was clueless. Overall, unless you fix this, I would never use your service department again. Plus after exam if my bill, I found a discrepancy, on which I will follow up . Your service department has gone downhill from the 10 years of service I remember. I used to look forward to going there to get a cookie and coffee, and now you have turned into getting a bakery ticket and never being waited upon. If that’s your service, then you have lost my faith in everything else. Sorry, and if you would like to talk, have someone high enough in the food chain contact me, only if you want honest feedback and help. Regards, Steve
