Mike was very nice and explained the process and outcome of my issue (climate change overriding my selection). Regarding that specific issue, I don’t have an exact answer to what happened since they could not recreate the occurrence in the same thing I reported . However, later that day I drove the car and witnessed a recurrence of another ‘issue’ I reported (lights flashing on a diagram of the tires on the dash) that occurred right after another routine maintenance at KIA. I immediately drove the car to the service area and one of your maintenance people (didn’t get his name but would recognize him) and he not only explained what the lights indicated but showed me how to change that and several other functions by toggling the tab on the steering wheel. What a huge relief to know that neither of the issues I reported were actual issues but that they were informational tools I could understand and disable if I wanted.
There are so many functions available with the new technology on today’s vehicles. The sales force barely unveils the tip of the iceberg. I now know that if I have questions I can go, not only to the manual and YouTube videos, but…most importantly, to your service personnel. The gentle had reddish hair and his desk was right as you entered the area off the main door from the drive through entrance. Please thank him, again, for me!
