All good , just needs a better comunication on the servic/repair timeline , better updates needed , that would elimanate lots of guessing when car will be ready !

Had an appointment for an oil change scheduled for 1:30pm and did not receive my truck back until 6pm closing time. I was essentially there all afternoon. It was a complete waste of my day. If I have an appointment for a simple oil change I should have been in and out in no time. After expressing my concerns on how long it has taken (at 5pm) I was told it would only be 15 more minutes, which in my eyes was already too long, I still didn’t get my truck back until 6pm…another 45 mins after the 15 mins I was told it would be done. There is no excuse for an oil change ti take any longer the 1-1.5 hours. That is more than enough time for a scheduled service. I already had a coupon for $50 so I only owed $30. Them taking care of the oil change isn’t anything special.
I was told my brakes pads were bad and that the front brakes were metal to metal. I would need all new brake pads and new front rotors because of the metal to metal. I was also told that the rear brake pads had to be replaced because they were too rusty to resurface. And because of my troubles they knocked off a couple hundred dollars off the brake estimate.
I went to Camelback Toyota and I didn’t mention anything to them other than I needed brake pads replaced. They told me the front brakes were not metal to metal, but would still need to replace the rotors because they had some deep groves in them. They mentioned the rear rotors were fine so they had them resurfaced. The price they provided to replace both the front brake pads and rotors were still $100 cheaper than what your serve center was charging just for the front. So they would have been $200 cheaper total if they did the same exact job you guys were planning to do.
This tell me you guys actually jacked up the price a few hundred dollars while telling me you actually took a few hundred dollars because of my troubles. At the end of the day you really didn’t do me any favors other than saving me $30 which insulting.
Several months ago I spent a lot of money there to fix my truck where some teen girl hit it. At this point you lost a customer and I will not be recommending your business to anyone.

Tim fit me into the flow of service without an appointment. The diagnosis and quick fix was as light as a "leaf."
Actually, a leaf was causing my sensors to illumine on the dash.
There was no charge and Tim was professional and gracious through the entire process.
